An Anxious Gal’s questions for me:
If you could meet 1 history maker, living or dead, who would you choose and why?
Oh man, this is a tough one. Let’s see… I think I’m gonna go with Mary Shelley. I’ve mentioned before that I absolutely adore Frankenstein, and I love the story behind it just as much. Shelley was still a teenager when she started writing Frankenstein as a “let’s all try to write the best ghost story” challenge among friends, and today she’s known as the mother of science fiction. That’s too cool! Especially considering how little people thought of women writers in the early 19th century. Makin’ that history, girl!
What is your favourite month?
October. Since I live in the south, it’s always hot, but it normally starts cooling off a bit sometime in October, and I’m always thankful for cooler weather. Plus I just really love autumn. It’s such a pretty time of year, and the air feels so nice. And, of course, there’s Halloween and pumpkin carving and fall festivals and everything good in life!
What were your worries as a child?
How I would meet Billy Boyd (Pippin from the Lord of the Rings movies).
What movie genre do you prefer?
I love dark/black comedies, like In Bruges, Death at a Funeral, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, Shaun of the Dead, and Trainspotting. Comedies in general are great, but I love when they have darker themes attached to them or when they’re like, horror/comedy combos.
What was the last book you read?
I just finished The Hunger Games — you can read my review here!
Pineapple on pizza – yes or no?
Yes! Ham and pineapple pizza is my fave! I actually stopped typing this response just to go out and buy one. This gave me a craving!
What is your favourite drink, alcoholic or not?
Peppermint tea with honey. It’s so soothing and has such a nice cooling effect. Plus it’s great for tummy aches and sore throats.
Are you a dog person or a cat person?
I love both, but I’m a cat person all the way. And obviously I’m going to take this chance to show you guys my two kitties, Castle (the black one) and Meiko (the other one). Here’s a couple of my favorite shots of them:
Castle is the most well-behaved kitty I’ve ever known and is super soft and beautiful and perfect. Meiko’s a little butthole and is always getting into the trash and the paper towel rolls, but she’s so cute and she has her sweet moments. She also loves to sit on top of your shoulders like a little parrot.
Earth, Fire, Air, or Water?
Fire. Which might be explained by…
What is your Star/Zodiac sign?
Aries — born on April 12th!
