Amalia’s Questions:

1) If you were obliged to read the same book every month, which one would it be and why?

Hmm… Well, I could probably read a Harry Potter book every month and not get tired of it. I don’t think I’ve read any other books as much as those, so that’s probably the best bet. I’d go with The Prisoner of Azkaban if I have to pick just one.

2) If you were a planet, which one would you be and why?

Neptune. It used to be that I would say Mars because it’s associated with the Greek God of war, Ares. My star sign is Aries, and I’ve always been attracted to fire (and my short fuse is a pretty strong Aries personality trait), so I used to be really interested in the red planet. But lately, I’ve developed this fascination with water. I’m absolutely terrified of huge bodies of water, but I think that’s part of what fascinates me about it. And when I say terrified, I mean terrified. I went to Florida last year with my bf, and we had to cross the Howard Franklin bridge, which is a 3-mile stretch across the ocean (and it’s a very low bridge, so you’re super close the ocean), and I freaked ooouuuuuut the whole drive across. But idk, there’s just something intriguing about the ocean. And, ya know, Neptune is an ice planet, so there ya go.

I also really liked Sailor Neptune and Sailor Mars from Sailor Moon when I was a kid. But Neptune slightly more 🌊

3) What are your favourite Greek and Norse deities?

Well. From Greek mythology, there’s Ares. Speaking of Ares, does anyone else love the God of War games?? I loooooved the first game, and the most recent one just came out this week! Unfortunately I don’t have a PS4, so I can’t play it, but it looks so goooood, and there are so many good reviews out about it. Ugh, I want it so bad!

Anywho. For Norse deities… I actually don’t know a whole lot about Norse mythology. I know a little from the Thor movies/comics, and I really like Loki, the god of trickery and mischief.

  1. Love your answers! I adored sailor moon when I was a kid, and my favorite ones were Neptune and Mars too! Neptune more because of the green hair, and then Pluto too in a different series of the cartoon! Loki is my favorite Norse god, though I love mythology and love quite a few others. 😀 And I’d re-read Harry Potter too, though I shouldn’t be answering these questions as Amalia tagged me too haha, can’t wait to do this!

    1. Yet more things we have in common 😂 Mars and Neptune were the best! I always thought they were so cool. Yeah I haven’t really read much on Norse mythology. I want to, though! I love that kind of stuff.

      1. Haha I know. 😀 I’ve never liked the blond and the most fancy girls in that kind of cartoons, rather the outsiders with black or green hair. xD Like in Starla and the jewel riders, my favorite was Fallon, who was a black haired gypsy and had a moon stone, while the other two had a heart and a sun stone and blonde and pink hair. xD Norse mythology is awesome, if you want to read more, I think there are some books on Gutenberg, and Gaiman’s book is pretty good. 🙂

  2. Thank you for tagging me! Your answers are great, and these are definitely interesting questions! I’m going to have to take some time to think about them because I actually haven’t ever considered who my favourite Greek and Norse deities are. I’m sure it’ll come to me sooner or later. I will definitely post my own answers when I get the time! Thank you again 🙂
